Promising Group: Striving for Excellence – the AJMAL WAY
Every individual is a unique entity, markedly different from others. Simultaneous with our efforts for the slow learners, we have special provisions for those showing signs of excellence. As such, a special group of students are earmarked for state level excellent performance in HS final examination. The initiative begins at the start of the First Year classes.
The objective behind the introduction of such a well defined, well designed group – often called Section C – is to identify the exceptionally meritorious students having passion and dedication for hard work and extraordinary feats. We strive to equip our students for a changing world by building confidence and encouraging creativity and fostering enquiry to achieve excellence.
Academic achievement is at the heart of what we do, ensuring students live with confidence that will enable them to be competitive and excel in every aspect of life. We expect our students to work hard and relish the challenge of skills and knowledge acquisition in a wide variety of areas.

Criteria for Promising Group
1. Attendance of hostellers should be 95% and day scholars should be 90%.
2. Applicants seeking admission to the programme offered by the institution should have passed the qualifying examination scoring minimum 75% for SEBA Board and 80% for CBSE Board.
3. Total number of seats allotted is 30 nos.
4. Scholarship to be provided on the basis of merit especially for the economically backgrounded students.
5. Assessment of performance of the students will be based on academic performance / results, absenteeism, overall discipline (like obedience, punctuality, consistency, etc), performance/improvement in English.
